I don't care what you say about long lines and heat, anyone will have the time of their lives at any of the parks. They are all magical and you will have no problem disconnecting from the outside world for a day or for however long you stay. The lines aren't even that bad, you actually are engaged with various forms of entertainment as you go. Good food everywhere, CLEAN-especially the bathrooms. Definitely go because even the fact of being at such an iconic place is half, (maybe not quite that much😉) the fun! I LOVE DISNEY WORLD!!😃
Best vacation ever. Sure, you think Disney is for kids but really..anyone who loves art, roller-coasters, or exploring would have fun here. There is something for everyone. The beds are cozy after a long day in the sun. The food looks pricey but is well worth every penny. I didn't get their food package price thing, and I really regret it. You'll definitely get your monies worth. Get the hopper if you want to mix up your days, but if you don't feel like spending that extra money for it, you can easily spend a whole day at these parks. All of the employees are so nice and helpful, and if you're flying in, the shuttle service is nice. It was my first visit, but it definitely will not be my last.
It has been 10 years since I took our kids. This time we stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. Disney still knows how to move people from point A to point B. The resort was quaint with narrow walkways, a nice open courtyard/garden area. River runs along backside of property for easy 10 minute boat ride to Disney Springs area. The food court is good for breakfast with many options. I would suggest eating dinner elsewhere. They NOLA inspired menu was underwhelming. They do have a nice little bar tucked away in the main entrance. Bartender and server were top notch. Huge pool area. Rooms serve their purpose. A place to sleep after long days at park. Very small shower/bathroom with an open area dual sink vanity with a curtain to pull closed if privacy needed to dress.
Enjoyed all 4 parks and even Disney Springs and Celebration Town. My order of favorite to less favorite would be Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, then Hollywood Studios. My kids put Hollywood Studios ahead of Epcot. Use fast passes after lunch. Get there when the park opens and ride the best rides first. Watch shows during the heat of the day, to cool off and let your feet rest. Around dinner time go check for additional fast passes. We bought memory maker since it was our first trip. Highly recommended this photo service. All in all, Disney provides memories we will cherish forever.
The happiest place on earth! Love love love Disney World. It was my first time in this park and I relived my childhood. All the characters are so lively and treat you nicely! Loved the holiday parade. I always wanted to see the fireworks over the castle with my love and that dream came true in Disney World that too on my birthday :-) celebrated my birthday here wearing the birthday badge and loved how everyone kept wishing me. Truly made me feel special.
